Ernest Siesel was honored as an Ambassador for Economic Development by the state Department of Commerce and legislative leaders as part of South Carolina's 20th Annual Industry Appreciation Week. Casual Cushion Corp., founded by Ernest and Pierette Siesel in 1979, makes patio cushions, pillows and umbrellas for outdoor furniture.
The business, which began in Hollywood, Fla., moved to Rock Hill in 2006.
