Casual Cushion Celebrates 35 Years in Business, Hires a Sales and Marketing Coordinator and New Sales Representatives
Casual Cushion Corporation, located in Rock Hill, S.C., is celebrating 35 years in business this year, and is proud to announce the recipient of the first Dick Sherwood Sales Rep of the Year Award, as well as several new additions to its team.
The 2013 Dick Sherwood Sales Rep of the Year Award was presented to Mary Geiseman at this year’s Casual Market in Chicago, IL. This will become an annual award presented for outstanding leadership and accomplishment in the field of sales. Geiseman has worked as a sales representative for Casual Cushion Corporation for 10 years, and is the inaugural recipient of this award. The Dick Sherwood Sales Rep of the Year Award was created in honor of Dick Sherwood, a beloved Casual Cushion sales representative who passed away in February.
“Mary Geiseman is an important part of the Casual Cushion family,” said Jason Siesel, Vice President of Casual Cushion Corporation. “She is a force in our industry and is loved by her customers. Dick and Mary were great friends and they both shared the same passion for their customers and our company. I can’t think of anyone who deserves award more than she does.”
Casual Cushion is also excited to announce the addition of Corinne Burdette as its new Sales and Marketing Coordinator. Burdette joined the team in August after graduating with a Master of Mass Communication degree from the University of South Carolina. She previously worked as the Marketing Coordinator at Octagon Solutions. Her skills will allow Casual Cushion take customer service to the next level by providing the sales tools that its customers need and the ability to efficiently share new company information in a fast and easy-to-use format.
Casual Cushion has also added two new sales representatives to its team. Greg Johnson was recently hired as the sales representative for Florida, and Donn Heisley has been hired to cover Georgia. Mark Gold now represents Casual Cushion in Arkansas, in addition to Texas and Louisiana. Jim Walker has added Tennessee, Mississippi and Alabama to his Casual Cushion territory, in addition to Kentucky and Indiana. Lastly, Randy Adams has rejoined Casual Cushion to cover Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Southern New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania.
“We are so excited to add such high quality reps to our team, and I truly believe that Casual Cushion has the best rep force in the business,” said Siesel. “We now have 15 sales teams covering 45 states and Canada, and they have all been an integral part in making Casual Cushion the leader in the replacement cushion industry.”
